Baker, John was chairman and CEO of Loudeye, a Seattle-based digital streaming media company.  John was also president & COO of GT Interactive and SVP Corporate Development at Activision. John as a BBA from the University of Wisconsin and a MBA from Harvard Business School.

Alan was formerly director of marketing at Onvia, the leading online portal for data and intelligence on government contract bidding. Prior to that, he was director of business development for GTS Services and regional director of technology for Supervalu. Alan also founded and successfully sold a DVD ecommerce business. Alan attended Brigham Young University.

Prior to founding what is now Maine Cottage, Lauren was Art Director for the Annapolis-based advertising firm, The Cyphers Agency, where she designed and developed fully-integrated websites and executed award-winning branding campaigns. Lauren earned her BA in Fine Arts from Salisbury State University.

Frances was previously director, sourcing and business development at Smith&Hawken and has served in senior merchandising roles at other multi-channel retailers Sitcom, The Orvis Company and Yield House. Frances has a BFA with honors from the Pratt Institute.

Frances Atherton

Prior to stepping into her current operations role, Sarah was the director of sales and managed the Maine Cottage flagship store. She has also held positions in customer service, vendor coordination, and logistics. Sarah has a degree in Interior Design from West Virginia University.

Alan Blackford

Joel was most recently a lead developer of data visualization tools for the Boeing 787 quality visibility team. He was the founder and CEO of Displayware, a cloud-based digital signage enterprise, as well as CTO of Loudeye in Seattle and Intertainer in Los Angeles. Joel has a BA and MA in Economics from the University of Southern California.
